Removable Dentures

If the patient lost most or even all of his or her teeth, we can recommend partially or fully removable dentures. Wearing such dentures is better than wearing nothing, as it causes redistribution of biting load of natural teeth and thus the teeth are protected against overloads. The position of articulate bulb in the articulator is reconstructed; therefore the clatter when eating, hearing noises and other unpleasant feelings are reduced. Besides, the stomach is not extensively burdened if the food is better chewed up.

In case of sufficiently strong natural teeth, a metal frame prosthetic application may be produced at the clinic. This application is fastened to natural teeth using special fixings or attachments, ensuring more comfort, as these prosthetic applications do not move at all when eating or speaking. Articulation remains almost unaffected because they have smaller surface contact to the mucous membrane of the mouth.
