Restoration Procedure

The wide choice of colours in which prosthetic
appllances are available wll satisfy
even the most demanding patient
Making a crown or bridge requires 2 to 4 visits. These are necessary because the doctor prepares teeth for future prosthetic application, while the dental technician crafts the appliance itself. A crown must perfectly cover the tooth and be aesthetic, as well as meet hygienic requirements.
Visiting the dentist:
- During the first visit, teeth are anaesthetised and the colour of future prosthetic application is determined.
- The teeth are prepared using high-speed turbine and diamond drills to shape them properly.
- If the tooth is alive, its pulp is secured against possible infection by covering it with a protective sealing layer.
- Master impressions of the prepared teeth are taken.
- Biting is registered.
- The dentist crafts and fits a temporary plastic crown or bridge until the permanent crown or bridge is crafted at the laboratory.
- During the second visit, the temporary crown or bridge is removed and the permanent crown or bridge is fitted. If there is no need for correction, it is fixed over the prepared teeth. The patient wears it for a certain period of time.
- When the dentist makes sure the crown or bridge is of proper quality and the patient is satisfied, the prosthetic application is cemented permanently.
