Bridge
Bridge restores the function of lost teeth. At least two teeth are prepared for this purpose.
Bridges are required in order to:
- reconstruct the function of lost teeth;
- prevent the adjacent teeth from shifting to the side of the defect;
- bond loose teeth by joining them into groups;
- redistribute biting load with respect to other teeth;
- correct occlusion and the condition of temporal mandibular joint.
