Implantation process scheme
1. Standard protocol
Usually, the implantation process from the operation day until loading of prosthesis lasts 3 months in the lower jaw, and 6 months in the upper jaw. The implant integration time period is determined by different jawbone density.

In some cases, implants may be loaded with prosthesis earlier.
2. Early loading
When an implant is firmly immobile in the jaw, it may be loaded earlier: 6 weeks after surgery in the lower jaw and 12 weeks in the upper jaw.
3. Immediate loading
Implants may also be loaded the same or the next day after operation. Immediate loading is appropriate when:
- the bone is thick;
- gums are healthy;
- bite is correct;
- there is no implant micro movement in the bone;
- implants are placed in the sections where chewing load is not heavy.
